Conferences

PL Conferences has successfully conducted several national and international events / conferences in India. A select list of ongoing and successfully executed conferences are given below:

RSSDI 2010, Cochin PL Worldways Limited is the official travel agent of RSSDI 2010 (38th Annual Conference of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetics in India) RSSDI is scheduled to be held in Cochin, Kerala, from 18th to 20th November 2010. About 4000 delegates are expected. Preparatory work has already begun.

R.K Venugopal, Medical College, Calicut Organizing Secretary PL Worldways Limited had sucessfully handled CSI 2009 (61st Annual Conference of Cardiological Society of India) from December 3rd to 6th 2009. Around 4500 delegates attended the conferences and had a wonderful time in Cochin. PL Worldways Limited looked after the entire accommodation, transportation, tour packages and all other travel and tour related services during CSI 2009. With the sucessful handling of CSI 2009, PL Worldways Limiited became the no.1 travel agent to handle big conferences in Kerala.

CRITICARE 2007, Cochin Dr. Mohan A Mathew, Lake Shore Hospital, Cochin Organizing Chairman, Criticare 2007 The 13th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine was held in February 2007 in the city of Cochin, Kerala. More than 2500 delegates attended the meeting. The critical care specialty encompasses a number of specialties and the conference here provided a platform to discuss the various issues relating to each. A number of papers were presented by experts from across the country and abroad. The three-day conference was preceded by a two-day workshop in which live demonstrations were held at various hospitals in the city. PL Conferences was the official travel agent for the Event. All booking, accommodation and travel & tour arrangements were organized by PL Conferences in a hassle-free and time-bound manner.

CTCON 2005, Cochin Dr. Jose Chacko Periappuram - Medical Trust Hospital Organizing Chairman, CTCON 2005 The 51st Annual National Conference of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons was held at Le Meridien International Convention Centre, Cochin in February 2005. About 600 delegates, 150 spouses, 200 nurses and 100 industry people attended this prestigious event. We handled all the accommodation, transportation and other travel & tour package requirements exclusively planned and prepared for the attending delegates. This included - booking rooms at various hotels in Cochin as per the delegates requirements well in advance, arranging daily tours, pre & post convention tours, spouse programs, reception centres at airports and railway stations, etc. Special arrangements for CTCON 2005: Set up a full-fledged office exclusively for the conference for about one and half years Provided VVIP status to the Foreign Faculties Provided 24-hour service to delegates during the conference

CSI 2002, Cochin Dr. Rajan Joseph Manjuran, Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla Organizing Chairman, CSI 2002 The 54th Annual Conference for the Cardiological Society of India - CSI 2002, was the most prestigious conference in Cochin till date where 2500 delegates, 500 accompanying persons and about 1000 industry people attended. Apart from the usual conference services such as hotel accommodation, transportation, daily tours, pre & post convention tours, spouse programs, reception centres at airports and railway stations etc., we had made some special arrangements for the conference as follows: Set up a full-fledged office exclusively for the conference for about one and half years. Arranged charter flight from Mumbai to Cochin to bring the delegates Created exclusive stationary items such as letterheads, visiting cards etc. for CSI 2002 Provided VVIP status to the Foreign Faculties Provided 24-hour service to delegates during conference Conducted a Memorable CSI National Executive Committee Meet at the Brunton Boatyard during September 2002. Created an interactive CD on the Conference and distributed among the delegates as part of the event kit, well before the conference.

AROICON 2003, Cochin Dr. C S Madhu - Trichur Medical College Organizing Chairman, AROICON 2003 The 25th National Annual Conference of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India held in Cochin November 2003 attracted over 850 delegates, 250 accompanying persons and 300 trade delegates. Apart from the usual conference services, we had made the following special arrangements for the conference: Set up a full-fledged office exclusively for the conference for about one year Provided VVIP status to the Foreign Faculties Provided 24 hours service to delegates during the conference

Event in Focus

PL Worldways Limited is the official travel agent of AIOC 2012 (70th Annual Conference of the All India Opthalmological Society)

AIOC 2012 is scheduled to be held in Cochin, Kerala, from 2nd to 05th February 2012. About 7000 delegates are expected. Preparatory work has already begun.
